Not designed for use with details pane (bottom shell). Turn off by opening an explorer window, select Organize in the upper left, from the drop down list select Layout, then click on Details Pane.

whenever i use the folder treeview in windows explorer, it looks ok when it's focused, but as soon as the treeview loses focus, the selected text turns black (was white), making it difficult to read the selection... can you please fix that? [link]
and the dark selection surrounds folder icons, there is a glitch with that: everytime i move the mouse to the folder treeview, images for open/closed folders appear. that's normal, but when that happens, the selection has a glitch on the left. maybe if the selection didn't surround icons, everything would be fine.
